Description
Looking for an engaging end-of-the-year resource that helps students to reflect on their school year? This End of the Year Memory Book is the perfect upper elementary activity!
Your students will LOVE this multi-purpose end-of-the-year task cards and memory book resource that can be done DIGITALLY or with traditional pencil and paper!
There are three different ways you can use this end-of-the-year memory book:
- Google Slides Collaborative Memory Book: There are 32 slides that each have a different memory book component. Prompts include a wide variety of tasks, ranging from writing scripts, designing advertisements, creating games, interviewing friends, etc. all with an end-of-the-year theme focusing on memories from the school year. I suggest assigning ONE slide to each student, then compiling them to create a DIGITAL END OF THE YEAR MEMORY BOOK!
- Printable PDF Pages for Collaborative Memory Book: You can print these nearly blank pages out (only the prompt remains) and students can create their memory book pages. You can create a collaborative memory book, or let students select the pages they’d like to include in their own book and print.
- Task Cards: 32 fun and engaging End of the Year Memories Task Cards for students to complete that will get them thinking about their school year! I gave out one to each of my students to complete, and then we ended up with a beautiful bulletin board of all of our class memories in a wide variety of formats. There are varying tasks to meet the different challenge levels and learning styles of students. Unlike other task cards, I would not recommend trying to have your students do every single card– they might get “memoried out”! 🙂
PLEASE NOTE: All of the prompts are nearly identical on all three formats.
