This Ireland Reading Project is the PERFECT companion to our St. Patrick’s Day Math Project!

Engage your students with this digital and printable 51-page Ireland-themed reading project for upper elementary! It is FUN for students and the perfect way for students to practice their literacy skills in real-world scenarios.

Students in upper elementary will practice and review a variety of key reading skills in various ways while preparing to take a trip to Ireland.

Students will learn about twelve different places in Ireland through a scrapbook, diary entries, and informational texts with text features. They will keep track of their learning in their Ireland Fact Tracker (with a little help from our note-taking cheat sheet!) Once students have learned all about the twelve Irish attractions, they will choose from a choice board of six project options to create and “convince” their “families” to visit Ireland!
