What is included in this paired passages resource?

Each set (2 sets included for 4 total passages) includes a set of paired passages, annotation guides for each passage, and text-based comprehension questions for each passage. Each set also includes six additional pages of extensive paired passage tasks that require students to Analyze, Apply, Evaluate, and Create based on the paired passages (please see the preview for sample pages). Each of the two sets includes 10 printables pages for a total of 20 printable pages of substantial content.

Is this resource digital?

YES! This paired passages resources is both printable and digital. The digital version is available as a Google Slides activity. The link for this version is in your download right beside the printable version.

This resource is perfect for review, test prep, and teaching paired passages. It is recommended for grades 4+.

How are the printable paired passages formatted?

There are two formatting options for this paired passages resource. You can choose to print and cut out the tabs (as pictured), or you can print a full page option and staple them together for easier prep.

How long does this paired passages activity take?

I recommend completing each of these sets over the course of one week.

These are completely black and white with the exception of one image on each cover page.
