Engage your students with this real-world application of multi-digit multiplication, The Resort Report! Use this multi-digit multiplication project to practice multi-digit multiplication by outfitting your own resort hotel with all of the necessary items.

Students will figure out how many televisions they will need, how much they will cost, how many beds are in the hotel, etc. The resource includes a detailed, 10-page project for your students to complete. This activity provides all the multi-digit multiplication practice your students will ever need! ✏️

What’s Included in this Multi-Digit Multiplication Math Project Resource?

• A digital, Google Slides, version (created in 2021) – this version is horizontal and has been optimized for digital use. You can preview this version in its entirety in the video preview on this listing.
• A 2nd vertical digital version that is identical to the printable version
• An answer key!

You can use this multiplication math project as an extended project, a math center, a take-home project, or even as an assessment at the end of a unit.

Based on a popular request, I have now included an additional cover page which includes a predetermined number of each room. This will enable you to use the now-included ANSWER KEY! If you like your students to have the option of choice, you can still let each student determine how many rooms they want in their resort, but the answer key will no longer work for your class.

Note: Some pages require 3-digit by 2-digit and higher multiplication. You can adjust numbers for students who have not yet progressed to this point or eliminate pages altogether.
