Earth Day Math and Literacy Projects

Description

Inspire your students this spring with Earth Day math and literacy projects that engage students in a study of the many things that affect our planet.

This is a bundle of two earth-themed projects:

1. Earth Day Reading Project
2. Earth Day Math Project

Both projects have been designed for use with 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades (though third graders may need a little more support!)

Teacher note: Your students will use a wide variety of skills in these resources. The pages stand alone so that you can pick and choose to meet the varying needs of your students.

This resource also touches on a number of NGSS topics for third and fourth grades. It’s the perfect way to integrate math, reading, and science. The following topics are explored in both projects:
