Description
A complete set of 32 basic multiplication and division task cards. Digital and printable to suit all classrooms. Teach the difference between multiplication and division in a word problem setting with these engaging task cards!
Use these Multiplication and Division task cards to scaffold learning:
You can differentiate instruction by “scaffolding” the lesson! Start out by having students simply determine whether you use division or multiplication to solve the problem, then move on to writing the equation, drawing a picture, solving, etc. These would be great for grades 2-4.
Two Digital Options Included;
- Multiple Choice in Google Forms: Students simply determine whether or not you should use multiplication or division to solve each problem. (Self-Checking)
- Fill in the Blank in Google Slides: Students determine which operation to use, write an equation and solve.
Why Use Task Cards?
Task cards are the perfect way to get hands-on with learning! Unlike traditional worksheets, task cards allow students to get moving! Place task cards around the room (or outside!) and set your students free to move while they cover important educational standards. Task cards are also the perfect tool for differentiation – just pick the card(s) that each student needs to work on the most. Too difficult? Leave it out. Too easy? Choose a more challenging card!
How can I use these Multiplication and Division Math Task Cards in my classroom?
