What are verb tenses?
Verbs are action words. They change slightly depending on whether they describe an action in the past, present, or future.

This resource includes 14 teaching slides focusing on correctly using a variety of verbs in the past tense, present tense, and future tense. The slides have been carefully designed to introduce these 3 verb tenses, give opportunities for guided practice, provide partner talk prompts, and end with independent practice ideas for journals.
