There are four “mini-sets” of text features task cards within this resource. The tasks on each card are as follows:

• Cards 1-6: Identify each text feature, Explain the function of each text feature, and Compare how a group of text features are similar in function
• Cards 7-12: Identify each text feature and Select which text feature would best suite a specific author's purpose
• Cards 13-18: Identify each text feature and Answer basic comprehension questions based on on the interpretation of the text feature
• Cards 19-26: Identify each text feature and Consider how it functions
