Need an exciting real-world way to help students make inferences? Look no further! In this engaging pen pal inference activity students will read a set of letters between two pen pals and make inferences along the way.

Each pen pal letter includes three text-dependent inference questions for students to answer! The questions require an integration of knowledge and ideas and are perfect for building critical thinking skills! 

Use the included recording sheet to answer the questions. Or, use the digital version to go paperless! 

This inference activity is perfect for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students.
